Collections Assistant (Calgary, AB)

Our Calgary office is currently looking for a dedicated Collections Assistant to process all client collection calls and complete various collection based activities.  This is full time position offering full participation in the company’s benefits plan.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Accurate, focused and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong data entry skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Business diploma, general accounting knowledge or equivalent
  • 1 – 3 years accounts receivable/collections experience

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for all client collection calls based on company defined process and criteria
  • Updating the client database for collection notes
  • Researching and resolving account disputes and billing discrepancies
  • Identifying,  processing and managing delinquent accounts requiring external collection efforts
  • Processing client credit card transactions and deposits for all offices
  • Ad hoc projects as assigned by the Accounts Receivable Administrator
