Collections Assistant (Calgary, AB)

Our Calgary office is currently looking for an individual to contribute to operational efficiency and company profitability through the timely and accurate collection of Accounts Receivable.




  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Product
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Accurate, focused and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong data entry skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Accounting Certificate or Diploma or equivalent accounting experience




  • Assisting with client collection calls based on company defined process and criteria, within a team environment
  • Updating the client database for collection notes
  • Researching and resolving account disputes and billing discrepancies
  • Identifying, processing and managing delinquent accounts requiring external collection efforts
  • Processing client credit cards
  • Recording deposits for all offices
  • Assisting with monthly/yearly reconciliation
  • Ad hoc projects as assigned by the Accounts Receivable Administrator
